In the INSEMA project there is done research particularly on complex and multimedia documents' lifecycle from the point of data protection and data security. Existing concepts on the traceabiliy ensuring legal compliance, access control and logical and physical migration as well are taken into account and new ideas are to be developed.
This project focuses on a particular part of information lifecycle management that became more important through the last years because of continuous digitalisation: The documents' lifecycle from the point of data protection and security. Our aim is to analyse concepts concerning the (traceable) usage and change of data being relevant per se like contracts or accounts as well as complex multimedia documents. For such an integral traceability you need a comprehensive security concept. Finally, from the requirements integrity and availability derives the need for dealing with logical and physical migration of documents during their lifecycle.
