On the occasion of the 4th legislative period of the Saxon Parliament the previous Multimedia CD-ROM has been redesigned in 2005/06. The content and design of the Flash-based multimedia presentation was developed for teenager, students and apprentices, as well as for teachers, parents and interested citizens.

The very first and the second edition of the CD-ROM "Du:it" appeared in 1998/1999 (10,000 copies). After elections in 1999 content and design were updated for a new edition, which appeared September 2000 (8,000 copies), followed by another update in 2002 (7,000 copies).
