The research project K-IMM deals with the generation and modelling of semantic descriptions for multimedia documents and their context. The intention of this project is to take advantage of ontology engineering and Semantic Web technologies in such a way that users without particular skills can manage and search a multimedia collection intuitively and without additional cost.
